How We Are Run

In addition to the Trustees and volunteer administrator there are a number of other volunteers who manage specific tasks, for example, organising the Walk & Clear sessions and managing the Social Media. Trustees have to be registered with the Charity Commission and are subject to a Code of Conduct. There is also a Code of Conduct for other volunteers. Current Trustees are:

The Trustees generally meet monthly. They also hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) at which the Chairman presents an annual report and the Treasurer presents the Accounts. All Valeways Trustees, volunteers, Friends and walkers are invited to the AGM and have the opportunity to comment, but only Trustees may vote.

Trustees are volunteers who put themselves forward. Their election is approved by existing Trustees and confirmed at the AGM. Valeways would welcome additional Trustees.
